IMG_0737Alex joined Bloomsbury Children’s Publishing as Senior Editor in April 2022 after spending the first seven years of her career at Atheneum Books for Young Readers/S&S. When she’s not editing, Alex can be found spoiling her beagle Winnie, experimenting with new hobbies like embroidery and guitar, or having a breakdown about whatever new bake she’s trying.

She earned a B.A. in English and Communications from Rollins College, and holds a M.S. in Publishing from NYU. Follow her on Twitter @Alex_Borbolla.

  • I have lived in seven cities, four states, and two countries.
  • If I didn’t have such a passion for books, I strongly believe I’d be working in the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit.
  • I am obsessed with personality psychology, even the fake kind. There isn’t a personality type quiz that I haven’t taken. Here is a sample of my findings: Aquarius; Type-A; INTJ; a Miranda.
